Cleanup or catch-up work needed before going monthly

Cleanup is Quoted Separately

If your books need cleanup before going monthly, it's quoted as a one-time, fixed-scope project. We never roll cleanup costs into your monthly fee.

Catch-Up Is Quoted by Scope

Catch-up bookkeeping is priced based on number of months and complexity. You'll receive a written quote before any work begins.

Software Costs Are Separate

QuickBooks Online subscription costs are billed directly to you by Intuit (we can sometimes offer wholesale rates - ask on your call).

Month-to-Month, No Long Contracts

All monthly bookkeeping is month-to-month. We earn your business every single month.

Why isn't there a single flat price?

Every business is different. A solo consultant with 30 transactions a month and one bank account is genuinely a different engagement than a contractor with five accounts and 600 transactions. Flat pricing either overcharges the smaller business or under-serves the bigger one. Custom pricing lets us be honest with both.

Are there setup fees?

If your QuickBooks file needs setup or cleanup before monthly bookkeeping begins, that's a separate one-time project. Pure monthly engagements without setup work don't carry a setup fee.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Monthly bookkeeping is month-to-month. We do ask for 30 days' notice if you decide to part ways so we can deliver a clean transition.

Can I upgrade or downgrade packages?

Yes - as your business changes, your package can change. We'll revisit fit on quarterly check-in calls.

Do you take a percentage of revenue?

No. Bookkeeping fees are based on the work, not your revenue. We don't believe in penalizing a growing business with a growing bill.
